Dublin is Ireland’s capital city with so much to offer from the famous Trinity College to the favourite tourist attraction, the Guinness Storehouse.


Irish people have been found to be extremely friendly and have a wicked sense of humour that brightens up your day, giving you something to remember.

Kilmainham Gaol Prison is one the largest unoccupied prisons in Europe that was involved in some of the most heroic and tragic events in Irelands history. This prison is recognisable from many films  including The Italian Job, The Escapist and Indian jones.


Their are some fantastic city tours available through a hop on hop off bus. With a live commentary during the tour, this made it a truly memorable experience whilst learning so much about the history of Ireland. These tours visit some amazing places, including: Trinity College, College Green, St. Patricks Cathedral, Christ Church Cathedral, the Guinness Storehouse, Kilmainham Gaol, Heuston station, the Museum of Natural History, Phoenix Park, O'Connell Street, Temple Bar, Dublin Castle and Jameson Distillery.


Merrion Sqaure is a very well-known part of Dublin with its beautiful Georgian houses and sculpture-filled park. The park contains a statue of Oscar Wild who lived at No. 1 Merrion Square from 1855 to 1876.


If you love a good concert then the Dublin New Year Concert is always the best way to bring in the New Year. I saw Madness on my New Year trip to Dublin.


There is so much to see in this city you can see it by bike, by boat, by bus and even by horse and carriage. There is no excuse to miss a moment of Dublin life.
