With the mixture of modern and classical architecture and landscapes, the arty capital of Slovakia is not worth missing.

Bratislava has a thriving city centre with many hidden gems down the winding streets. Sculpture art can be found at every corner and the buildings are topped with beautiful tiled roofs that are set with vibrant colours and decor.

Schone Naci is one of the sculptures that greets you in Bratislava. He was a well known man who was poor and mentally ill. He walked the streets of Bratislava in old but elegant clothes, greeting passers by with his top hat and bowing to ladies passing by.


Another famous sculptures found is Bratislava is one of Napoleon's Army Soldier leaning over a bench in Main Square. Here you find a long queue of people waiting their turn for a photo with the sculpture.


Main Square is one of the best known squares in Bratislava is located in the old town and is considered to be the centre of the city. Here you can find the Old Town Hall. This is the oldest city hall in the country and is one of the oldest stone building still standing.


Bratislava is a very clean city with market stalls in theme with their historic culture. Here you can explore the stalls for unique gifts or enjoy a walk down the modern street visiting more scupltures and fountains.


Many trees and flowers brighten up these streets and squares whilst the Danube River has modern bridges arching over it, giving Bratislava a vibrant and modern feel.

Bratislava was better than i expected, being such a beautiful area to explore.
